Today my friend Bethanie and I will be chatting about the book Sea Witch, by Sarah Henning.
Sea Witch is the beautifully told origin story of the Sea Witch from Hans Christian Anderson's classic fairy tale, The Little Mermaid. Sarah Henning takes Hans Christian Anderson's beautiful story and weaves it's elements into her own story in such a breathtaking way. Don't believe everything Disney throws at you...Ursula is not the real Sea Witch. Evie is. And her story is like none you've ever read before.

A little about Sea Witch:
Ever since her best friend Anna died, Evie has been an outcast in her small fishing town. Hiding her talents, mourning her loss, drowning in her guilt.
